Rob Chafin, drummer and vocalist, was born in Potsdam, New York and is the only child of a very musical family. Music became an integral part of his life when he started playing piano, drums, and singing with family and friends at the age of five. Over the years, Rob has immersed h imself in all facets of music and is proficient with drums, percussion, guitar, bass, keyboards, harmonica and vocals.

Rob is a quick learner and enjoys deep intellectual conversations. He likes to travel and meet new people but above all, his passion is music, regardless of the instrument. According to Rob, "Music is a form of communication and performing live is transforming the energy and emotions of the audience and venue into tones and rhythms that affect us on a subconscious level".

Norman Dimitrouleas, keyboardist, was born in Dayton, Ohio and is a veteran of the Jamband music scene and known for his explosive personality. Norman, along with his brother Dino, formed the band The Maji in 2002 and like The Werks, The Maji are well known for grooves packed with improvisation, fusing psychedelic rock and soulful blues into a movement that reeks with high energy. He joined The Werks in 2008.Norman has shared the stage with many different acts such as, The Maji, TNT, Ekoostik Hookah, Particle,
Tea Leaf Green, Umphreys McGee, and The Four Ohms and many more. He was also instrumental in the creation and hosted the three-day music festival called Harvest Jam, which was held each fall in Ohio.Chris Houser, guitarist and vocalist, was born in Dayton, Ohio and received his first guitar from his uncle when he was twelve years old. By years end, he added an amplifier and some lesson and Chris wrote some of his first songs. Music would become a significant part of his life and he began playing clubs as an adult and seeking members for a band.

In early 2005, friend and bassist Chuck Love and Chris formed the band Cheezcake, a three piece that involved as little structure as possible and pure jam music. During the 2005 University of Dayton Battle of the Band competition, Chris met drummer Rob Chafin and formed "The Works," which officially became "The Werks" in 2006.Chuck Love, bass and vocalist, was born in Dayton, Ohio and was introduced to music when he was about ten years old through family and friends. Chuck has played in a variety of bands including a five-year stint with a heavy metal band before forming Cheezcake with Chris Houser. Chuck sings, writes music, plays bass, drums, guitar, maracas and of course, the cow bell.
